Sophie Cousins

Sophie joined DWD in August 2022 after obtaining her BSc (Hons) from the University of Leeds in Geography with environmental mathematics and a MSc in Real Estate from London South Bank University. She qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in November 2025, is an RICS Registered Valuer and an affiliate member of the Rating Surveyors’ Association.

Sophie works on a wide range of commercial property matters, including business rates, compulsory purchase claims, valuation, and lease advisory. She has experience working for both landlords and tenants in a range of commercial and residential properties.
