Ollie Williams
Ollie Williams is a Planner with two and a half years’ experience. He joined DWD in March 2024 and is based at DWD’s London office but works across the UK.
Ollie works within DWD’s Energy and Infrastructure team and has been involved in the preparation, submission, and management of a number of planning applications under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (TCPA 1990), Development Consent Order (DCO) applications under the Planning Act 2008, and applications under Section 36 of the 1989 Electricity Act.
Since joining DWD, Ollie has gained experience working on a range of projects including solar farms, battery energy storage systems (BESS), carbon capture, usage and storage (CCUS), hydrogen production, combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) generating stations, residential developments, and mixed-use developments. Prior to DWD, Ollie provided strategic planning advice on behalf of Transport for London (TfL) on a wide range of planning applications.
Ollie graduated from Cardiff University in 2023 with a first-class BSc (Hons) in Human Geography with PPY.
