Lucy Freeman

Lucy joined DWD in March 2021 as a Graduate Planner, following the completion of an RTPI accredited Masters degree in Infrastructure Planning and Sustainable Development (MSc) from Oxford Brookes. As part of this degree, Lucy completed a research-based dissertation which focused upon identifying the barriers and opportunities for using smart city initiatives to achieve inclusive development in the developing world. Prior to this, Lucy graduated with a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Liverpool in 2020.

While at DWD, Lucy has been working on a wide range of projects, having experience in various sectors including residential, infrastructure, renewable energy, and mixed-use projects.

Lucy is currently working towards her APC to become a Chartered Planner.
