Louise Braine

Louise is a chartered town planner with over 8 years’ experience. She joined DWD in 2021 having previously worked in the public and private sector.

Louise has worked across a number of sectors, including residential, student accommodation, retail and commercial. For the last three years, she has had a particular focus on energy and infrastructure planning.

Louise has experience across the planning process, including preparing and managing a range of planning applications. This involves co-ordinating multi-disciplinary teams and monitoring the application post submission, including negotiating with local authorities. Louise’s experience also includes preparing planning appraisals across a variety of sectors, preparation of local plan representations to promote sites and running community consultations.
