Jeff Norris

Jeff has over 30 years’ experience in the business rates industry starting his career in the City with Sinclair Goldsmith before moving to the west end with Edwin Hill. Jeff was also a Partner at Farebrother where he was Head of Rating concentrating on the Central London office market before running his own property consultancy providing clients with strategic property advice.

Jeff’s expertise extends to all categories of rating valuation work including appeals, deletions and completion notices and through the bulk classes to specialist casework ranging from racing stables to exclusive use venues. He has made successful representations at Valuation Tribunal and at Magistrates Court.

He has represented clients in all major industry sectors including the Automotive Industry, Communications, Banking, Legal, Real Estate, Leisure and Retail and executed successful appeal work on behalf of Ford Motor Co, BT, Farrer & Co, Lewis Silkin, Bird & Bird, The Bar Council, Blackstone, The Chubb Group, Wickes and The Co – operative Group.
