Georgina Smith

Georgina joined DWD in 2021, having previously gained experience working in a local planning authority in the Development Management team.

In 2019 Georgina graduated from Newcastle University with an RTPI accredited Masters degree in Urban Planning (MSc). Prior to this in 2018 she graduated with a degree in Geography and Planning (BA Hons).  Georgina was elected a Chartered Member of the RTPI in May 2023.

Whilst at DWD, Georgina has been working on a range of projects in various sectors including residential and commercial planning, where she has gained experience across the planning process, including appraising sites and managing a range of planning applications.
