Chloe Desgrand
Chloe is a chartered town planner with over 8 years experience in the United Kingdom and Australia. She joined DWD in 2022 having previously worked in the public sector.
Chloe has worked across a number of sectors, including residential, mixed use, industrial and energy projects. Chloe is part of the team advising on a variety of Town and Country Planning Applications for largescale solar farms, battery storage, hydrogen production and carbon capture and storage, as well as applications under Section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 Scotland and Development Consent Orders.
Chloe has experience across the planning process, including preparing and managing a range of planning applications and planning appraisals. This involves co-ordinating multi-disciplinary teams and negotiating with local authorities. Chloe’s experience also includes assessing a range of planning applications for local authorities in London, UK, and Sydney, Australia. She has also been a key contributor in drafting of planning policy for local authorities and state government departments in Australia. With this experience she is politically astute and contributes strong policy analysis skills and insights into decision-making processes at various levels of government.
