Anna Woodward
Anna Woodward is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and has over 10 years of experience, gained both in the public and private sector.
Anna has worked across a wide range of industries including railway, road, and utilities infrastructure, solar energy, commercial, residential, and mixed-use planning both in UK and in New Zealand. She has experience preparing, managing and processing a range of planning applications as well as providing general planning advice to clients and project teams. Anna has represented clients and Councils at consultations, hearings and public examinations.
Anna holds an honours degree in Planning from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She worked as an Environmental Planner in New Zealand from 2014, where she practiced both in the public and private sector, before moving to the UK in 2017.
At DWD Anna specialises in renewable energy schemes and is part of a team working on a large number of major infrastructure projects, including nationally significant and sub 50MW solar schemes and battery storage applications. This includes preparing key application documents, providing planning advice and managing a multidisciplinary team of technical experts to understand specific site constraints and coordinate an application
