EXPERIENCE
The Roffen Club, Rochester
Trinity School & College is an independent day school, college and gateway provision specialising in teaching children and young people aged 6 to 25 with a diagnosis of anxiety, speech, language and communication difficulties. DWD were appointed to advise on the potential expansion of the school’s campus, with particular focus on ‘The Roffen Club’ located at 41 New Road located to the east of the existing school.
As part of DWD’s scope of work we confirmed with Medway Council that Prior Approval was not required to change the use of the building from a D2 Use Class health Club to a D1 Use Class school.
The change of use was undertaken via Part 3, Class T of the General Permitted Development Order.
This work was undertaken alongside project managers and architects LXA.
