Singapore High Commission, Belgrave

DWD has supported the Government of Singapore with its proposals to modernise its listed buildings at Wilton Crescent in the Belgravia Conservation Area and to change the use of one listed building from a residence to consular space. Collaborative consultation with the City of Westminster on detailed design and heritage impacts produced a scheme which respected the listed buildings and gave the High Commission modern, functional consular floorspace.

WCC were also persuaded on special circumstances case which enabled a significant policy principle protecting residential floorspace to be overcome enabling the change of use of the house at number 2 Wilton Crescent to become offices.
