Winnersh Triangle – contractual dispute
Our client, a property company, had previously owned a commercial site of circa 1.5 million sq ft at Winnersh Triangle business park. The site comprised offices, warehouses, data centres, a hotel and retail uses.
A significant damages claim was brought against our client in relation to an alleged contract breach concerning a potential disposal.
Our client appointed DWD to provide expert valuation evidence to the High Court to assess the Market Value of the Business Park which was in excess of £350m. This was critical to the client’s case.
Having DWD’s expert valuation as part of the evidence presented assisted the Parties in reaching a negotiated settlement in advance of a High Court hearing.
