This month, DWD had the pleasure of welcoming a group of Year 8 pupils from a local London school into our office for a Flash Internship, a short introduction to the world of planning and surveying.
The students got stuck into a range of activities, from measuring our office space to identifying site constraints on maps – and gained a real insight into how our teams work day-to-day. It was fantastic to see their curiosity, creativity, and teamwork in action.
A big thank you to Causeway Education for coordinating the experience and helping us connect with young people who are exploring future career pathways.
We hope this visit has sparked an interest in planning and surveying… and who knows, perhaps we met some future members of the profession!
