DWD secure consent for new restaurant at Neal’s Yard in Covent Garden

DWD has secured Planning Permission and Advertisement Consent for external alterations at 2–3 Neal’s Yard and 15a Shorts Gardens, located within the renowned Seven Dials Conservation Area in Covent Garden. The approvals support the delivery of the new Buvette restaurant within one of London’s most distinctive and sensitive townscape settings.

The project required a careful and coordinated approach to design, heritage and planning considerations. DWD worked closely with Camden Council Officers and the project architects, LXA, to respond effectively to key design matters and secure a cohesive scheme that respects the character of Neal’s Yard and the wider Conservation Area.

With the works now complete, the new restaurant is welcoming customers and it is positive to see the consented scheme delivered on site contributing to the vitality of Neal’s Yard.
