Last month, DWD FC were honoured to take part in the second RSK Energy Transition Cup at the Valley, an iconic Championship ground and home of Charlton Athletic Football Club that hosted international fixtures just a week later.
After a slow start, including an unfortunate lose against the eventual winners, DWD FC turned it on and finished on good form but unfortunately it was not quite enough to make it to the Semi-Final.
The tournament raised over £13,500, smashing last year’s total and contributing crucial funds for National Energy Action to continue doing great work for the over 6 million UK households currently living in fuel poverty.
