We’re pleased to share that Beaulieu, a vibrant new district in Chelmsford being delivered in partnership by Countryside (now part of Vistry Group) and L&Q, won ‘The Great Neighbourhood’ category at The Academy of Urbanism Awards last week. This success comes quickly after Beaulieu also winning the ‘Excellence in Design and Placemaking’ award at the Essex Housing Awards earlier in November.
DWD secured outline planning consent in March 2014 for up to 3,600 new homes, as well as extensive infrastructure and community facilities, and continues to lead the planning for the delivery of housing on site.
